This is a series of articles based on some of the dishes i grew up eating. These articles document said dishes in the context of my own personal journey with them, as well as locate them and their influence in the cultures around them.
The articles explore topics like - how food influences our identity, belonging, status. They also expand upon the practices, the semantics, the material culture around these dishes, and how all these elements are interdependent.
i illustrated the visuals to go along with the articles based on the forms and colours associated with the specific dish. The illustrations also have references about the content of the article in them.
