The textile collections includes 8 designs.
Designed by Aleksandra Baturo.
The concept was to create a collection of textile canvases which would reflect associations with the port, the Baltic sea and the yachting regattas.

I am passionate with the yachting sport and and that was my main inspiration. While creating designs, I used the bright and colourful palette of sport yachts' sails. I explored the code of international maritime signal flags and developed my own flags. Moreover, I tried to create an illusion of water reflections of these maritime flags.

The collection includes 8 designs and 5 of them I printed on two different textiles - the synthetic gabardine and the textile mesh which lets the light passing through it. The print technique was the sublimation printing because it gives bright colours.

The Sevcabel Port is one of the main concert and exhibition locations in St.Petersburg. The cable factory in the past, nowadays the Sevcabel Port is an emerging space with art galleries, workshops, art and design markets, bars, concert halls and food courts. So, the textile installation was exhibited in the main factory building to fill the large space with textile warmth and colours.
