    CLIENT NEEDS North Idaho based Aspen Homes & Development was going to be celebrating their 20 Years of Quality Custom Homes and wanted a brand that would help celebrate their accomplishment. They also wanted to have a progressive and timeless design that would help carry them for another 20 Years. Over the years they had collected up 5 different brands that made up their company. Knowing that this could cause confusion among customers and future endeavors they were on the hunt for a permanent mark to represent what they were all about. DESIGN SOLUTION With no design restrictions, I wanted to communicate Aspen Homes’ awesome design execution of dark woods and rustic colors. The other goal was to capture the area in which Aspen Homes are built. Using the negative space of the “A” mark, I was able to help communicate mountains and predominate pine tree that resides in the Northwest. Using imperfect lines I was able to bring the rustic, yet clean, style that Aspen Homes is well known for. Overall the goal is to create a mark that is progressive and timeless to carry Aspen Homes for decades. Read Less
