Information Design
for the book of Surrealism (Word of Art)
This is an index for the book by Patrick Waldberg: Surrealism (World of Art). This index was made under a workshop with Joost Grootens. My idea was to create an information design regarding the amount of artists and their work in this book. Thus the reader can see, how much and what kind of work has presented. E.g. the big circle with a small white hexagon means that in the book there are a lot of pictures and images but few text from the artist. A small full circle means, that artist has only pictures and only a few in the book.
