I made this scene after being inspired by a scene from 'OM SHANTI OM". 

I started with drawing a digital lineart to compose the poses and gestures.

I wanted a dark background so I started laying out brighter colors on a dark background to put more focus on the figures.

I added shadows in this step to give a little bit depth.

Here I added details on their clothes, bangles and earrings to make it a little fancy.
