This whole project began by the specifications of creating a Time Mechanism for an environmental activist. Therefore I proceeded to develop a Time Mechanism that would contribute to their lifestyle. By measuring the time home - grown herbs are exposed to sunlight and how that affects their life cycle I developed this product to make Home - Herb - Growing more efficient and effective.
Final Product
The SMART Herb Garden, has embeded LED lights on the extruded bottom surface, and these turn on to remind the user to water the plants. The LED lights are powered by a solar panel located towards the back of the product for better reach of sunlight.
