Net is a conceptual design that uses the combination of graphic design and programming to make human reflect on ecology.
The earth is being tested by extreme ecological changes. Human beings in the Anthropocene have accelerated the retreat of glaciers, the extinction of species, and the bleaching of coral reefs with the greatest influence. The outbreak of the COVID-19 at the moment has once again focused our attention on the virus host. In recent years, new infectious diseases have occurred more and more frequently all over the world. In addition to the variation speed of the virus itself, the greater cause is human beings who use wild animals as a source of meat. In this way, the virus hitchhiked along the food chain, from the natural host to the intermediate host, and then came to human beings.
Net aims to let people understand the flexibility and vulnerability of the biological network through the participants' own experience. When the local screen feels gravity induction, the creatures in the food chain feel that human beings as predators dodge around, and the balance of this "ecology" fluctuates accordingly; Who can stay out of the sharp increase and decrease in the number of animals?
