Dead Dranks ‘Nightwalking’ Vinyl Album design
LP vinyl design for Dead Dranks’s Nightwalking album release. Dead Dranks is a Greek punk rock music band, blending the old school punk style with modern post rock sounds.
Nightwalking is the second Long Play music album of the band.
The request to our design studio was to create a strong and iconic identity to represent the style of the music band. That goal achieved through the modern profile of the LP design and the colourful flat graphics illustration we have created.
The idea for the cover’s artwork came out of the titular name of the album “Nightwalking”.
Giannis Labrakis – AKA Jola – inspired by the lyrics of a track from the album designed an imaginary illustration, sketching a mythical hero rambling in a hazy afternoon in the city streets. The artwork was completed with vibrant colours and dynamic custom typography aligned with the overall style of the LP’s new identity.
The tracklist in the back cover set the final touch in the design, combining a free formed typography with the dynamic presence of Dead Dranks’s custom designed logotype.
