The shoe's uppers are made with a high-performance yarn which contains at least 50% Parley Ocean Plastic — reimagined plastic waste, intercepted on remote islands, beaches, coastal communities and shorelines, preventing it from polluting our ocean. The other 50% of the yarn is recycled polyester—and silhouettes like the Superstar, Stan Smith and Forum feature 20% shredded Boost sourced from production waste." adidas

ZX 8000 PARLEY
The goal on these shoes was to reduce as much material waste from cutting the pieces of the shoe as possible. We created new cutlines and replaced panels of the shoes with webbings to be more efficient.

FORUM MID PARLEY
The center piece of the Forum Mid is the new interpretation of the x panel out of webbings. The eyestay webbing, vamp webbing, stripes and quarter x-webbing, laces and collar lining made with 100% Parley Ocean Plastic.

STAN SMITH PARLEY
Stan Smith has always represented effortless style. Now, the eyestay webbing, heel tab webbing, laces and collar lining on are made with 100% Parley Ocean Plastic, and the metal eyelets are made with 30% recycled metal.
