Yume is an up and coming gardens which was in need of more storage space and a tea house which would become the central icon and main attraction for the gardens.
Alongside a team of two talented brothers, Oso & Benito Steen, we were given a deadline of only two weeks to fully construct the teahouse while making design decisions along the way. Using traditional Japanese timber frame construction and traditional plastering techniques we were able to complete the authentic Japanese teahouse overlooking its neighboring shed.
