Chinese New Year Celebration;
preparations before Chinese new year-
include visiting  Glodok, the Jakartans China Town,
to buy sweets, decorations-​​​​​​​

the sweets, and decorations that I mention earlier-
buying all this small things, played a big part in Chinese new year celebrations.
"the more the merrier" kinda vibes. 
and don't forget to buy the 红包 (re: red envelopes)
the old town, along the way-
Finally, the first day of Chinese new Year.​​​​​​​
As the beginning of the year,
most people will go the temple and pray-
for good luck, health and their wishes for a new year.
and they will have their first family feast,  big family.
visiting our elderly houses to 拜年 (re: paying annual respects)
this is where all the kids, and unmarried adult will get their 红包 and blessings from the elderly.

midnight prayer dedicated for 天空 (re: thi kong)
