I was approached about creating a promotional piece for a series of hip-hop videos that will be in the works in the next couple of months. I was told what it needed to say and that was it. So I thought about making a little boombox with the lettering and painting everything. I don't work with clay a ton so I wanted to try it out and see how it went. Everything came out well. I would have liked to of had the letters a little more cleaned up, but I think the handmade look of the uneven words helps keep the authentic feel.
