Oscillating Color Background

A basic pattern design created with alternating stripes of colors can provide an interesting perceptual reversal effect if we distribute two sets of circular elements over it, as depicted in the image below. Instead of using black and gray, you can use complementary colors such as red and blue to make the pattern's components stand out more and increase contrast.
With a bit of imagination, you can transform the final pattern design to resemble a circuit board. Take a look at the picture below and try to determine whether the background of the circuit board is black or gray. The colors of the background oscillate between being the "figure" (the circular elements) and the "ground" depending on where your focus lands first. This fluctuation effect can occur even without conscious effort.
We can apply this visual effect to a set of concentric rings, as demonstrated below.

The number of rings in the pattern and the complexity of the arrangement of circular elements are limitless and depend solely on your inspiration.
I used these simple designs to create eye-catching monochromatic T-shirts and merchandise that are certain to grab attention.
