Guidelines for physical rehabilitation of veterans
Currently, a significant number of militaries have received injuries to extremities and are currently in need of prosthetics and rehabilitation. Full rehabilitation is the key to the effective functioning of prostheses, successful social reintegration, and full physical capacity. Ukrainian organization INgenius has translated and adapted the latest American and European guidelines, we also translated and adapted international questionnaires to objectively assess the dynamics of the patient's condition.
These guidelines, in combination with questionnaires, will help rehabilitation specialists working with the Ukrainian veterans, help to qualitatively assess the patient's condition, provide care, and monitor the effectiveness of rehabilitation in accordance with modern standards. These guidelines were developed by the medical NGO INgenius with the support of the Veterans Reintegration Program.
