The hand comes from the top on this one. Not as pronounced as I would have liked. Plus, I got accidentally zoned out by the zen nature of carving and all of a sudden there was a backbone kind of thing that happened on the side.
In this closeup, you can see the carving and also the crackling of the clear glaze on top. High fire clay, but I did the final firing with a low fire clear glaze - different expansion.
The hand is a little more obvious on this one.
