This poster series was aimed for middle school children, encouraging them to attend three lectures as part of an educational outreach program sponsored by the Discovery Science Center,
in Santa Ana, California.
In order to successfully advertise these events to the desired target audience I researched the three subjects, chemistry, biology, and astronomy. The concepts behind these posters was to ignite a sense of wonder in a child’s mind. To do so I decided to rotate the text, as a way of breaking the rules. I felt the bright colors of the graphics would pursuade the children to take a closer look at the posters.
