HSBC Bank — The Journey to Values TVC Scripts

SYNOPSIS: The journey of a paper currency and the lives of the vastly different people who come into contact with it as it goes from the one person around the town or even the world.

This plan suggests HSBC create a vanity URL where the user enters the nation and the serial number of paper money and every time someone new gets a hold of that piece of currency and enters it into the web-site, it keeps track of how far it travelled and how long it took to get there... even notifies other previous "owners" of that money.

The Journey of Value could be very interesting as a consumer engagement tool if you consider how so many monetary transactions are made and nobody even thinks about it.
TVC SCRIPT 1

VISUAL: Start off with a Grandmother handing her happy teen grandson a dollar, zoom into the handoff
SUPER: This is not a dollar.
VISUAL: The teenager in a pharmacy with two nervous friends, exchange money for a condom pack
SUPER: Curiosity 
VISUAL: The Chemist tips a courier
SUPER: Reward
VISUAL: The courier comes out the door towards his scooter, and notices a homeless man sitting on a bench. He gives the man the dollar…
SUPER: Compassion
VISUAL: Cut to the homeless man receiving a cup of steaming instant soup
SUPER: Sustenance
VISUAL: Show the deli clerk taking the bank bag and entering through the doors of an HSBC
SUPER: This is not a bank.

TVC SCRIPT 2 

VISUAL: Late night at a restaurant/bar, a waitress accepts a tip from a customer, zoom into the handoff
SUPER: This is not a dollar.
VISUAL: CUT to the waitress leaving a taxi paying the cabbie
SUPER: Transportation
VISUAL: CUT the taxi dropping a family at the airport, he has just taken the bags out of the car and is giving change to the passenger.
SUPER: Change
VISUAL: Cut to the traveler, at an outdoors crafts market in Cambodia, buying some craft object in Cambodia or Vietnam
SUPER: A gift for the secretary 
VISUAL: The craftsperson from the market, is handing payment to an ethnic village farmer, who hands her the leash to a buffalo.
SUPER: Investment
VISUAL: The farmer, in the same clothes, crosses a busy Phenom Phen street and enters an HSBC Bank
SUPER: This is not a bank.
