Inspired by a personal adventure to the top of the quaint town of Oppede, France, I created a sweater that speaks of my adventure as well as to comfort and safety. J.R.R. Tolkien said, “not all who wander are lost”. While I was exploring the South of France I was able to explore and see the world differently than I ever had before. That day at Oppede was one of my favorite days because of the thrill I got from climbing into a crumbling chateau, exploring the cobblestone structure. I may have not known where I was going, but I was not lost. Recently however, I have felt like I have been wandering and that I have been lost. I always have a favorite sweater that I put on when I get home because it feels safe and comfortable. I created a house sweater out of cotton flake in colors inspired by my day in Oppede.
