Final Ukrainian National Selection

Eurovision 2022 💙 💛

It was a great honor to create the stage design for the final of the Ukrainian national selection for Eurovision 2022.

The show was broadcasted in live, and it gathered millions of Ukrainians in front of their TV screens.
The decision on the winner was made partially (50%) by the judges and their expertise, and 50% by the audience voting for their favorite artists.

I faced different challenges while designing the stage and the hall, the most complex tasks were:
- creating a scene for the artist so that he could be the main character on the stage.
- organizing the juries’ and the audience’s zone in a way which highlights that the future of the artist equally depends on them both.
- organizing a communication space (Green room) between musicians and the showman behind the scenes.

Based on these objectives, the scenography was developed .The stage smoothly connected with the hall forming one space.
And the Green room area was carefully located backstage.
