Hi! This is my showreel compiled of projects completed in/around 2021. These were mostly 2D animations, motion graphics, and video editing. Click on video to start watching. Scroll down to see highlights.
The first project you see in the showreel is an opera. Pre-recorded footage of live acting/singing in front of a green screen had to be composited together with illustrations and animations. The actress and animated characters of the opera move, interact, speak, and sing.
I worked on this project as part of a team. I did compositing and character animations (body movements, except facial expressions), as well as some editing, object tracking, masking, basic color correction. All done in After Effects. For some scenes I used Joystick-and-Sliders plugin. Other members made illustrations, keyed the green-screen out, and provided art directions.
I learned a lot while working on a project this big (~45 minutes, more than 20 animated characters).
Now, looking back at this project, I see it as one of the important milestones on my work path.

After the opera, in the showreel you saw the interview edit. Client gave me footages of the lady talking, and slides from the presentation they made for their client. I made a case study video for them. I did editing, basic color correction, added motion graphics and music.
