"This is a personal project of mine recalling my bursting childhood. Little stories surrounding my friends and beloved family members"
" This is my fifth uncle's coffee shop. He is my aunt's husband. When I was a child, my parents used to often send me here for baby sitting as they work all day long. His cafe is also their only house. He has a daughter name Ngan. I often call her " hai Ngan ". She is three years older than me. We played together very closely at this very wooden attic of this cafe" "And from here, the legends of my childhood begins... "
" Those lousy hungry lizards. I hate them by a lot. They have a dark and scabrous skin along with they half sticking out eye balls. Their body is cold and make "tak tak" sounds like someone is chucking on their tongue. They often looks for left sugar grains on the table to eat. Some even stick their tini-tiny pinky little tongue to lick those sweet grains like addicts. Even, some through themselves into the cafe sugar jar ".
"I considered myself a curious and exploring type of person. At the age of 5 or 6, children usually have the tendency to be naughty. There was once I stole my uncle's razor. Then, I invited my older sister Ngan to play spa simulation game. The game is to shave all the hair on your arms and legs."
"With that same razor, I was bold to the idiot level that I bald a pretty much area of my hair to my ultimate regret later on."
"On our cozy attic, Ngan and I used to have interesting imaginary adventure games together. The games that only exist in the children very creative mind. One of which being "crocodile ashore" game."
"Back then, I and Ngan usually helped fifth uncle out with washing up and beverage services in order to have some snack money."
"From the money saved, we used them to buy stationeries at aunty Xieu's local bookstore."
