This is to celebrate the life of Nelson Mandela and to advertise an upcoming exhibition which explores the Tribal side of his life having come from the Thembu Tribe. It also exposes a number of his many achievements aswell as his beliefs in Peace, Education, Freedom and his Presidency.
The colours were chosen to provide a contemporary feel but also because in the many images shown all over the world he is often seen to be wearing a golden colour.
I have developed the "M" in Mandela to embrace the black and yellow Triangle which is found in the South African Flag but retained it's value as a letter.
