After trimming the plywood seat for my Alar chair there were some offcuts that I was determined not to waste. I have always admired Jonas Grundell’s Nordic Light candelabra so I decided to make my own version. Like the Nordic Light original, the arms of the Fjær candelabra can be arranged around a central pivot point into a unique shape or flattened to fit on a mantle piece.
