The Kakao Entertainment Welcome Box is a brand kit given to crew members on the first day at the office. This project started off from a simple question, "What kind of excitement is there on the first day at the company?" To convey the feeling of welcome and excitement, we put in first impressions at the new company, what we do, and our brands(Melon, Kakao Page, Kakao Webtoon, Wonder K, Kakao TV, etc.) into the box.
Like the memory of receiving a pair of sneakers that you've wanted as a child, we added a strange fun to the design concept by giving a sneaker box design to it. We hope that the same excitement could be passed on.
On the side of the welcome box, the core value of our work, 'joy', was designed as a copy of 'WE ENTERTAIN' so that the members could deliver it naturally.
As for the components of the welcome box, stickers depicting Kakao Entertainment's culture and vision along with 6 practical items (a mug, a pouch, a laptop stand, sticky notes, a pen, and a diary) are designed in one tone.
It was planned to convey the brand philosophy of Kakao Entertainment by applying the brand pattern which connects and merges a content spectrum that encompasses all genres.
