“静静的坐着，向远眺望，远方的父母是否曾想起我。就像风筝的线，你在那头，我在这头。思念却永不抹灭。”思念，挥之不去，它盘旋在眼前，萦绕在耳边，沉淀在心里。
留守儿童对父母的思念就像一根没有尽头的丝线，互相牵挂，却又相隔千里。将“思念的线”贯穿在整本书中，“织”思念之情，散布于字里行间里。整本书分为“诗集”、“中国留守儿童报告”以及“纪实摄影”三册，标题以小孩的口吻呈现，给予书籍趣味性，内容以纪实故事和诗集为主，数据调查和摄影为辅助，阐述了中国留守儿童的现状和问题。

Left-behind children miss their parents like an endless silk thread, caring each other but thousands of miles apart. Will "miss the line" throughout the whole book, "weave" the feeling of missing, scattered in the lines. The whole book is divided into three volumes: "Poetry Collection", "Report on Left-behind Children in China" and "Documentary Photography". The titles are presented in the tone of children, which gives the book fun. The content is mainly documentary stories and poetry collection, assisted by data survey and photography, and expounds the current situation and problems of Left-behind children in China.
