These are three typographic posters that I designed during my undergrad studies at Weber State University. Killer was featured in the 2010 AIGA 100 Show and is a visual tool for explaining the anatomy of typography. Specific pieces of murderous letter forms are coated with blood, and are then called out with the explanation of the anatomy being explained.
Wicked is a poster showing various display fonts and their power to communicate concepts visually. Each face was carefully selected to visually communicate each of the “7 Deadly Sins.”
Sick is typographic poster showcasing the font family Univers. Each face in the family was selected to represent the different illnesses that kill americans every year. The greater the amount of deaths per year the specific illness caused, the more bold and oblique the face was chosen to represent it.
