I designed and screen printed a 12 piece summer scarf collection that represents my hometown, Miami FL. I took design and color inspiration from some of my favorite things about where I'm from, such as the beach, the quirky architecture, and the tropical florals. I broke my collection down into individual canvases that combine the urban cityscape of Miami with its tropical aesthetics.

I knew I wanted to make unique, handcrafted items that could be a fun and fashionable complement to swimwear for the summer season. There are 6 scarves that can be worn as a headband or a headscarf, 3 bigger scarves that can be worn as a headscarf or a top, and 3 large sarongs that can be worn as a skirt, a top or a dress. I tie dyed and screen printed each piece by hand with either a scarf layout or repeating pattern.
