Freedom of Speech but make it Trendy

Exercising in a deeper way the concept of "Freedom and Liberation", on my inner tought I reached to a point of making the question to myself and for who will be confronted by my compilation: are we really free? and what does it stand for?

Bombarded by palettes of new movements, our society is full of ideas and concepts that shape minds on a sense that now and then we even forget to ask ourselves on why we even believe and stand for something. The fact that nowadays we have the ability to have a voice made us forget about the true purpose of our voice and sometimes we end up sharing something on our social media account just because it is trending without feeling represented or touched. We want to be visible, to inflate our egos, to show that we can scream louder than others and most of the time we end up loosing on the real concept of defending a social cause. I believe that everyone has is own battles, that's why we only had one Mandela, one Rosa Parks, one Gandhi ... They stood for what they believed, not for likes, views or followers. Being black is not a trend, being gay is not a trend, being treated as an equal is not a trend.
In the other side, being neutral which could be also recognized as a position threw an issue... in our outline most of time we can be condemned because being silent can be perceived as been shallow and privileged.

In my country we have a saying: "my freedom ends where the other's begins". Which can make us think if we really have the opportunity to have a personal and free opinion or somehow our opinions and our ideias of freedom are already fabricated by the media.
