Tropicana Brands is the name of a former American multinational fruit-based beverages company. It focus to make fruit juice and then extended to other juice-based drinks and nutrition and healthier beverages. To express the thought that Tropicana uses real fruit hence I wanted the logo to look like piece of original fruit. I've included an apple slice into the 'P' in the Tropicana logo.
