I came up with the idea of pressure washing the shapes of monster footprints around the local area that would lead to the nearest bin, so that it was always easy to find somewhere to dispose of rubbish.
The technique of pressure washing was brilliant for the council as, using no materials other than the stencil for footprints and water, it was cost effective and easy. It also doubled up on the meaning of cleaning up our streets, as pressure washing uses water to remove dirt from the pavement, leaving behind the shape from the stencil, thus using cleaning up as a way of asking people to keep the streets clean.
