Fényszilánk is a poetry book that contains a collection of poems about winter by well-known hungarian poets. There are no colors in the book, it's all white, referring to the snow-capped landscape that's the subject of many illustrated poem. Both the illustrations and the texts are gloss-printed, which gives an icy effect and a unique appearance by making the printing clearly visible in certain lighting conditions only. I created the illustrations by displaying the elements portrayed in the poems, and composed them in a snowflake form. I took account of the atmosphere of the poem when I created the shapes and the composition of them, also my aim was to refer to the classic elements of the hungarian ethnography.
