3D Blender Journey
For a month, I've been trying out Blender, an open-source 3D Software. It was chaotic initially, but I am now proudly giving myself the "Blender Newbie" title! In this project, I will be sharing some of the process, experiments, trials and errors throughout the journey.

*drum rolls*
Here's my "3D Blender Renders Journey"!

Chapter 1
The initial stage - 3D Modeling

At first, I've been following tutorials on YouTube and trying out different types of 3D renders, which was a MINDBLOWING experience, one could say. There are tons of helpful tutorials out there on YouTube and here's a few of the tutorial I followed! (definitely recommend watching these if you are finding easy to follow tutorials)

Rabbit Tutorial: Part 1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AlPPYkZg9D4
                           Part 2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GLxMYj-pBQs

There were tons of hiccups at first, the UV Wrapping, Modelling, Lightning, Camera Settings are all messed up! But what went through my head that time was, let's make sure that doesn't happen the next time.
This is a 3D Render from my sketch that I've tried out once I've gained a little bit of confidence on the software!
*pssst this is the Sunway Pyramid that I have in my mind ...*

Here is another render of a rocket ship in SPACE!
I experimented with the rocket ship modelling, composition, lightnings and the camera's DOF

And I had to 3D "versionify" my logo as well...

Chapter 2
The confusing stage... - Nodes, Textures, Lightnings

Then, I've started to experiment with textures, geometry nodes, lightning and many more stuffs that could add more value to my projects. Though nodes and textures is still quite advanced for me...I had fun experimenting with them and adding them into the scenes are quite satisfying to watch!

Here's a YouTube channel called Surfaced Studio with a great tutorials contents!
This is the playlist that I definitely recommend watching!

Here's a random scene that I created with the inspiration of KL Lync Stairs. As you can see, it's definitely not the best work...

Chapter 3
The "fun stage" - Camera Movements, Basic Animations (Not Rigging!)

Later on, I started to experiment with animations that involves camera movements, and basic model movements. Animating stuff is quite familiar to me, since I have been using After Effects to animate projects quite often, and the animation feature in Blender is quite similar to the ones in After Effects. Though there are so much more stuff that is yet to be explored in Blender...

Here's PolyFjord a YouTube channel who provides amazing and in-depth tutorials on Blender!
This will be the recommended video from PolyFjord on Blender's Camera Movement.

Here is a short experimental animation I did with basic shapes!
I tested with camera movements and angles, then exported it to After Effects for the final cut.
ps: I've added in SFX to top it off nicely...
Here's a cute string-less guitar with basic animation with camera and the guitar.

Chapter 4
The beginning - Closing thoughts, Future Explorations
I am glad that I've taken the leap to learn the software, and hopefully, I'll be able to create more stuff using this software. There is honestly way too much stuff to learn in Blender and I am barely scratching the surface.
I will be experimenting more with animations, textures, nodes, particles (+ the entire software) in the future!

Thanks For Watching!
