Tokyo 2020 kinetic sports pictograms is the first time in the history of the Games that these have been created. There are a total of 73, 50 types of 33 Olympic sports, 23 types of 22 Paralympic Games, each pictogram is designed with simplicity in mind, featuring limbs, circular heads, and simplistic geometric shapes for the equipment involved.

I supervised the production of this animation and expressed the athletes' dynamic movements.

Opening Ceremony

The 2020 Summer Olympics opening ceremony was held at the Olympic Stadium on July 23, 2021, from 8:00 p.m. for about three and a half hours. I participated in the ceremony as a video director, creating the introductory video for the pictogram part of the competition introduction, designing the camera work for the performance, and directing the typography and movements displayed on the screen from a design perspective.
