Flushing Town Hall Logo Redesign

Flushing Town Hall, Flushing Council on Culture and the Arts, is a cultural center located in Flushing, Queens New York. The goal was to propose a new logo and identity system for the institution. They wanted to be identified as a multicultural arts center despite their location in the historic town hall building.
Below: The new logo was inspired by the circular windows across the face of the building which are cut in half, forming arches. The arch also represents the all encompassing multicultural aspect of the institution.
Below: The FCCA has five different branches in their arts programs. The arch from the logo is used in different colors for each arts section with supporting patterns. The purpose of having this feature is to distinguish each art section from the rest. The patterns would be applied to invitations and programs for events.
Below: Graphic system proposal for promotional posters.
Below: Advertising campaign for the FCCA's various programs for the art. The concept for the series was gossip and the way word gets around. The colors correspond to the different branches; World Music, Exhibitions and Jazz.
