The topic is major powers facing off over energy resources from Asia to the Arctic.

The client liked the pencil sketch so much that they wanted to use it - with minor tweaks - as the finished illustration.

Colour was added digitally, but I kept it simple to retain the energy of the sketch, and to focus attention on the major players.
