I was born in 1971. I grew up in the North East of England and developed a passion for illustration from a young age.

A particular obsession, from the age of three, was with drawing divers and underwater scenes.

I have branched out a bit since then, and after art college and a short spell working as a puppet-maker for Spitting Image I became a respected illustrator attracting a broad spectrum of commercial and creative clients. Now firmly established my work frequently appears in the national press, and my characteristic quirky and humorous style has proven popular with a wide range of clients.
