Dynjandi (Fjallfoss) Waterfall │ Iceland Photo Gallery
Dynjandi is one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Iceland and the largest waterfall in the Westfjords. It is an importand part of the Westfjord scenic drive and one of the main natural wonders in the region. The waterfall consists of seven waterfalls that each has its name and identity.

Veiðivötn lakes in the Highlands │ Iceland Photo Gallery
Veiðivötn are a cluster of Lakes on Landmannaafrétti between Þórisvatn and Tungnaá, which consists of up to fifty lakes, both small and large. The Veiðivötn area is approx. 20 km long and 5 km wide from southwest to northeast.

Fremstifoss í Þorgeirsstaðaá │ Iceland Photo Gallery
At Fremstafoss in Þorgeirsstaðaá is a power plant built in 1966 and a small dam in the river. The power plant is not in operation. A new power plant is planned about 250 m downstream.

Snorrastaðatjarnir Lakes │ Iceland Photo Gallery
Snorrastaðatjarnir, or the Snorrastaða Ponds, is a spectacular place to observe bird migration during spring and autumn. This fertile and beautiful spot is shaped like a bowl. It lies just off the main road on your way to the Blue Lagoon, is a resting place for the thousands of birds moving between countries and continents.

Fagradalsfjall Volcano seen from Vogar │ Iceland Photo Gallery
On the evening of March 19, 2021, an eruption began from a fissure in the valleys, the first eruption on the Reykjanes peninsula in 800 years.
