I drew this illustration with a suspicious atmosphere from an episode in which Abe no Seimei encountered a Hyakki Yakko when he was young and saved himself from danger by telling his master.

November issue

The theme of this issue is “Samurai".

I created a dynamic illustration of the famous episode of the Battle of Yashima, in which Nasu No Yoichi, on the side of the Minamoto clan, shot at the target of a fan hoisted on the warship of the Heike clan.

The theme of this issue is “monk".

I depicted an episode of rain-making by Kukai, who called a dragon to make it rain because of the continuous drought.

I applied an overall yellow filter to create the dry atmosphere of drought and the feeling of dust.

January & February issue

The theme of this issue is “merchant ".I painted this picture to create a fun atmosphere, showing children learning as they wish at the temple school.There are also messages of support for the students in several places in the painting, so please look for them.
