Így az egész munkafolyamat tulajdonképpen egy múltba vivő trip volt, a gyermekkorom olyan részére, amire bár szívesen emlékszem vissza, de felmerül bennem a kérdés, mégis miért nem szólt rám senki annak idején, hogy tegyem már le a Lovecraftot… A képek jelentős része az ilyen régi benyomások, emlékek és érzések hatása alatt készült, azzal a szándékkal, hogy a nézőben is hasonló folyamatot indítson be. De természetesen a novella és az album is ihletője és része volt a tripnek – a Smaragd a kedvenc trackem, rajzolás közben rongyosra hallgattam.”

I have a fairly long relationship with weird and cosmic horror literature. So this whole process was a trip back in time, to a part of my childhood I remember fondly – but which makes me wonder why no one told me back then to put down Lovecraft...

I made most of these images under the influence of those old impressions, memories and feelings, with the intention of triggering a similar process in the viewer. Of course the short story and the album were also an inspiration and part of the trip. Btw, Emerald is my favourite track, I listened the hell out of it while drawing.
