
The Argos Magical Circle (not to be confused with the Magic Circle for legal reasons) was a social companion to the 2020 Argos Christmas Ad. Marvin of Marvin’s Magic was our judge in the search the best magic trick the young magicians of the UK could perform!
I worked alongside the creatives to create a look and feel for the campaign, as well as producing all of the assets. The following is a unexhaustive collection of those assets.

Social Content
This is how the campaign started! I worked incredibly hard to create a framework that would be efficient to adapt to other posts and formats. I also created a number of other assets that were posted throughout the campaign to help encourage people to enter and showcase entries.
GIFs
I created a suite of GIFs for GIPHY - taking clips from the Argos Christmas TVC and adding fun, dynamic type on top. Alongside these, I created text free versions - you can see both on the Argos GIPHY page.
Room Transformations
These assets are notable as I had to retouch all 5 images to remove the Christmas elements from the scene, so that they could magically transform in to their Christmas-y versions. I also created Instagram Stories versions where the user would tap the screen to proceed to the next video and trigger the “transformation”.
