'It is what it is' project  is a set of cards as “taro” cards style, can be gifted, and can be framed. It is part of my Major Project at uni. 

Motivated by my lecturer to think outside the box, and try to be different from what is already out there with the use of illustration and hand lettering this set of cards aims to divert people and let them express themselves in whatever way they want. It can be gifted, framed, used for decoration or even to be there and have a look when you feel like it. Just say whatever you want!

Initially, saying positive and motivational quotes sounded right, but allow yourself to feel bad, sad and angry; it is healthy. Research by a therapy centre states that Swearing or cussing is a good way to process the chaos of being human in a world where we can’t control everything. So the cards will be a bit of swearing, cussing and a frustration vibe.

As the major project we were required to have a physical version of our projects, so the cards were printed in a professional printer services, and for the cover/box that would be "sellable" I created a 3D mockup of how would this packaging would be, kind of box/book style.
