2023 Sundance Film Festival Hypothetical Branding

This is a project done for a hypothetical branding for next year's Sundance Film Festival - I used basic shapes representing the breathtaking landscape of Park City, Utah, where the event is held - the triangles represent not only mountains, but positive movement of an upward trajectory of achievement, and the circle, not only the sun, but the creative spark and fire of a filmmaker. This first image is the poster meant to promote the event. The following images represent additional branding and assets.
This is the main logo I created, along with some key assets. The composition is consistent with the theme, in typeface and colour.
Here are the promotional print assets, again, following the compositional guidelines I created.
It took a lot of comps to get where I wanted to go -
And more comps when I decided on the "shape" theme...

The winner is here, somewhere....
The poster was fun to develop...
I decided that the vertical design with the blue mountains was the "feel" I was looking for, seeing the event is always held in the wintertime...
