We were asked to design economic packaging for one of three objects given to us. Mine was egg packaging. It turned out how I wanted, a special experience for the user, boutique in a way, but personal because each package has handles so that the eggs can be carried away safely. I wanted to emulate the free open pastures that these chickens and their eggs were raised in. Also the paper used for the packaging is biodegradable and can be planted into the ground when empty to grow into wild flowers to make the world a much more beautiful place. "Established in 1990, our chickens began a new type of life. One that allows them to range free in their pasture, free of sickness, free of claustrophobia, free of confinement, and free to roam and forage. We believe in a saying that “you are what you eat, eat”, we believe that our chickens, as well as our customers, should eat well. We also believe in a well world, to keep the planet as happy as our chickens and eggs we make sure that all of our cartons are biodegradable and if planted in the ground, can produce a garden of wild flowers."
