Furnitures Brass Handles

Hello! I want to show my project of brass furniture handles. I used Zbrush to create them, so I was able to create shapes and easily edit them. It also allowed me to look at the result on the renderer, and achieve what I wanted before printing the master models on a 3D printer.

I invented the design of the handles in my free time and then transferred it to the program, or immediately experimented in 3D. I often made quick freehand sketches, but usually they served as a base for further transformation into the finished result.

The beauty of 3D modeling is that you can prepare models for promotional items.
I will show an example model for 3D printing and for advertising posters. I want to say that the finalization of the models was already after I received the finished handles from the foundry.

This helped me reproduce casting defects on the models so that they are as close as possible to the result in life.

For some models, it was enough to correctly adjust the textures.
I can't show the whole process as I didn't take photos of the steps. In fact, after I received the finished master models from the 3D printer, I processed them and made silicone molds for wax based on them, then I already gave the wax molds to the foundry and my handles were cast there. One version with blackening, and the other without any special processing.

I will show you the photos, unfortunately they were taken on the phone, and will not be able to convey the fullness of the details on such small objects as furniture handles.
Some handles have been to the Red Sea, so I made a video.
Thank you for watching.
