I've recently branched out in my investigation of materials. Items used: graphite, highlighters, tape, calligraphic pen, sticky note, paper towel, paper, water, abstract photographs.
Breaking down graphic design to it's frivolous functions.
Leaving white space between images has started to appeal to me more and more. To me it's a visual counterpart of silence/rest as used in music.
Rubbing water on graphite creates some cloudy textures.
