Before and After Biofuel Site Headings: Copywrite

Biofuel- Before and After: A Mock Up

Get Biofuel

Biofuel is a site that clears up confusion about biofuel to show its readers the many beenfits of biofuel for the air. I used the company's progressive tone of voice and applied it to the  heading by copywriting the FAQ page.

Biofuel Company Website
Before and After Heading: UX Copy
The problem with the current copy:
I asked myself what heading or lines I could write on the menu and FAQ page, to help the user achieve their goal. A pain point that wasn't addressed is an eco friendly fuel be benefial the user.

The kind of research would I carry out to verify the problem: I would work with designers, developers, product managers, and stakeholders to aid me in defining the scope of the problem in front of me. My role in these discussions would be to help think about how UX Writing can be used to solve that problem, or if UX Writing is even the right tool to use.

The kind of research would I do to help me find the best possible solutions: I would be Ideating and helping designers and anyone else on the design team find solutions to any design problems they face next. I'd help in sketching out the problem in a visual way, along with creating tools like content priority maps or hierarchies to help the others on the team be aware of the most effective ways for content to be set in a part of interaction design.

Keeping a checklist in mind to aid the user in achieving their objective, I added headings to the FAQ page.

For the 'after' screenshots, I changed the heading and line with the Inspect element  and used my minimal knowledge of Html with the inspect element. I right clicked on a part of the page I used, then selected  'inspect' to see  the source code  of the page, which I tweaked to add or change copies I also may tweak with  CSS that make up its design, the fonts and icons it uses to add or change copies.

The results based heading's bolded text will highlight its value:  the incentives features of biofuel, that are explained in detail in the lines under the heading.
The directly relatable heading quickly captures the user's attention and notes their hopes fears, desires, and frustrations plus offers them a way to achieve their goals or desires in an intuitive way. By showing a pain point and offering a solution: Biofuel saves them costs, especially during war.

Without wasting words, the call to action heading would compel them to use or keep this brand in mind without thinking twice. The capitalization of the middle sentence breaks the sentence pattern and prevents skimming.

When I have created an alternative copy, the tests I would use to check if the new solution improves the results is: helping the UX Designer create a more high-fidelity prototype of the chosen solution, while I'm recurrently taking feedback from anyone else involved in the project.

I'd use research. I should be creating a copy- specific tasks for researchers to provide to users, and noting how the users react to the language being used in the prototype. . It's useful for me to note the pattern, age, sex, location, income level, interests, etc., And it's also useful for me to know context the copy will be seen in, such as if it's for social media, a blog post, or a landing page on a website.

I'd also use iterating to  take both qualitative and quantitative feedback, working with the UX researcher, to apply to my UX writing and increase its effectiveness. It's helpful to gauge who truly buys the product or services and who buys the competitors' products or services. Finding a target audience's hidden desires and see what the problem actually solves for them would be useful. It's important to know where the target audience is and how they behave on the site or platform. As  is getting the data from a variety of places, as people don't always tell their true opinions Customer reviews are very useful to see what issues a person has when using a product or service, and what concerns are common. As is seeing why a customer would go for another solution instead of this product. Knowing a product's imperfections and drawbacks are crucial to create a good copy, as those things set a product apart. So I'd utilize that information wisely. Lastly a poll or some research would help to see if the alternative copy improves the results. This is evidence that strengthens my case that the copy's claims are supported, and the evidence should be customized so the copy is as trustworthy as possible.
