Film documentation of the journey of the ten-meter neon sign "Nowe Życie" to the exhibition "COMMON AFFAIRS. REVISITING THE VIEWS AWARD - CONTEMPORARY ART FROM POLAND" prepared by Zachęta - National Gallery of Art, Deutsche Bank KunstHalle and Polnisches Institut Berlin in 2016. Neon "Nowe Życie" in the 1970s illuminated the Agricultural Production Cooperative in Trzeciewiec near Bydgoszcz, and then it was forgotten for many years. In 2005, the artist Elżbieta Jabłońska discovered it, with the help of several Polish galleries, she repaired the neon and gave it a completely new one artistic life Since 2009, the neon has been traveling from place to place, initiating new events, becoming the starting point for many artistic activities touching the subject of change. The journey of the neon to the exhibition in Berlin was one of the most important forms of presentation. from Nakło nad Notecią to Berlin The six-day record of this journey is an independent work that shows a 45-minute observation of the changing landscape, seen from the perspective of the river. Both the picture by Elżbieta Jabłońska and the accompanying sound performed by Wojtek Kotwicki are an impressionistic record of the journey.
