OVERVIEW
This custom luminaire was designed in the midcentury modern style that the art director for the project was striving for. A custom luminaire was needed to meet the scale and output needed for the project.
MY ROLE (while employed by Walt Disney Imagineering)
- Designed, modeled and documented the custom luminaire
- Created a design intent drawing package for use in creating shop drawings and for identifying where fixtures would be installed.
- Annotated each portion of the conglomerate fixture, including breakout pages for each style of shade to document desired dimension for each individual piece.
