3D Type Integration
This was a project done for my 3D Illustration and modeling class. Here we were integrating 3D type into imagery, making it appear as though is was a part of the image itself and not added in digitally. For this project, I created 3 different graphics, each focusing on a different location. My vision focused on creating covers for travel pamphlets, something that would attract the attention of a tourist while conveying information regarding the contents of the pamphlet.
Being from Massachusetts myself, I couldn't pass up the chance to create a graphic for my state's capital city.
This is probably my favorite of the graphics and I feel it turned out very well. I'm especially proud of the shadow work considering this was one of my first attempts at 3D type integration,
This was the final piece in the series and also the one I found most difficult. This was due both to the integration of the type while keeping in mind the minute details of the bridge, as well as making sure they matched the reflection in the water.
