Thirteen young Russian Germans bear the same name – Eugen. They have never met and yet they share a striking experience: all of them used to be called Evgenij. Their stories and adventures are unique. Author and photographer Eugen Litwinow travelled with them far into the past and had intense conversations about growing up in the former Soviet Union, their personal views about the name change and their following life in Germany.
